In this animation, Canterlot High meets its rival school, Crystal Prep Academy, in a competition that’s a long-standing tradition -The Friendship Games. Even though the competition has become anything but friendly, and Canterlot High has never won, the magic of the Equestria Girls gives the students of CHS hope.
