Synopsis The Accused
The Accused is a 1988 American film written by Tom Topor and directed by Jonathan Kaplan. One night at a bar, working-class woman - Sarah Tobias is brutal raped by a gang of several drunk bar patrons, while onlookers cheer them on. A prosecutor assists in bringing the perpetrators to justice, including the ones who encouraged and cheered on the attack.
